OLOLOSOKWAN SCHOOL
Ololosokwan is the remote Maasai village located about 9km from TAASA. As a part of our mission statement 'to employ and empower members of our local community', TAASA employs about 70% of our staff from Ololosokwan. Not only do we want to empower our staff, but also their families and children.
Explore With Purpose, in collaboration with TAASA Lodge and Roane Travel Design, conceptualized and undertook a project to rebuild a school in Ololosokwan, a rural village in Tanzania. Due to the scale of this ambitious project, we phased our approach in developing facilities based on on-site needs and requirements.
With the help of the generous contributions from our donors, the first two initiatives, including the development of two classrooms with 50 desks, and a dormitory facility housing school children, has been completed.
