TAASA is an expression in the Maasai culture that means ”Let's Go!”  It literally urges you to visit.

We're proud to embody the true meaning of our name in everything we do:

Let’s go...soak up the privacy of our own game reserve, taking us far away from tourists

Let's go...immerse ourselves in authentic Maasai culture

Let's go...witness unique game viewing that includes exclusive night drives

Let’s go...push ourselves beyond our comfort zones on a walking safari

Let’s go...create memories that last a life time.

Now "Let’s Go" explore how TAASA can create an Africa experience like no other.

LOCATION

TAASA is situated approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Kleins Gate, to the North East of the Serengeti National Park.  There are flights into the Lobo Airstrip and drive in options, which makes including TAASA into any circuit logistically easy.

Our location is ideally situated.  We have the unique benefit of driving a private reserve with no outside vehicles.  We are only 1 of 3 private safari reserves in the Serengeti.  In addition, we can easily enter the Serengeti and visit the Mara river depending on migration activity.  This dramatically increases our guests game viewing experiences versus other lodges.  Offering both private and national park access is a big point of difference.

REVIEWS

TAASA guests enjoy everything this unique lodge has to offer.  Our 5 Star rating on Trip Advisor is a source of pride for all of our staff that cater to the needs of our guests.

They truly are a luxury camp! Our “tent” had hardwood floors, a king-sized bed and a bathroom I wish I had in my own house! The setting is awesome. You’re part-way up a mountain overlooking the Serengeti. Each tent is a decent distance from the closest tents, so you have a lot of privacy. The lobby, bar and dining areas are just beautiful. We also made use of their outdoor patio, which was perfect for drinks after a long day of safaris in the bush. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive, and the manager and his wife went out of their way to make sure each guest’s needs were met.
